الملخص
تسعى المؤسسات المالية اليوم إلى تقديم خدمات اجتماعية شاملة كجزء من تفاعلها الفعّال مع البيئة الاجتماعية، وتبرز ضمن هذا السياق أهمية تحمل المنظمات مسؤولياتها الاجتماعية، حيث يترتب على عدم الاهتمام بهذه المسؤوليات تأثيرات سلبية على المجتمع والمؤسسة على حد سواء، ويعكس النجاح الاقتصادي للمؤسسة بدون مراعاة الجانب الاجتماعي تكاليفًا باهظة على المدى الطويل، مما يؤثر سلبًا على صورتها ومصداقيتها، ونظراً لأهمية المسؤولية الاجتماعية من وجهة نظر الإسلام، حيث يتجاوز التزام البنوك الإسلامية بقواعد الشريعة إلى النظر في حق المجتمع في هذه الأموال، تركز هذه الورقة البحثية على دور البنك السعودي للاستثمار في دعم وتعزيز مفاهيم ومبادئ المسؤولية الاجتماعية في المملكة العربية السعودية، باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، حيث استهدفت الدراسة فهم الدور الاجتماعي الذي تقوم به المصارف في المملكة، من خلال تحليل تقارير المسؤولية الاجتماعية الصادرة عن البنك السعودي للاستثمار التي تغطي الفترة 2013-2021م، وأظهرت النتائج التزام البنك السعودي للاستثمار الجدي والمستمر بالمسؤولية الاجتماعية كجزء من استراتيجيته، حيث تتنوع المبادرات والبرامج لخدمة المجتمع والبيئة، مع التركيز على التعليم ودعم الشباب والمرأة، كما يؤكد برنامجه للمسؤولية الاجتماعية على التنوع والشفافية، مع الحاجة المستمرة لزيادة الجهود لتحقيق أقصى قدر من الأثر الاجتماعي الإيجابي، وعليه، توصي الدراسة البنوك السعودية الأخرى أن تأخذ التجارب الناجحة للبنك السعودي للاستثمار كنموذج لتبني المبادرات الموجهة لتعزيز المسؤولية الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على التعاون مع الحكومة والمنظمات غير الحكومية والمجتمع المحلي لتحقيق أقصى قدر من الأثر الإيجابي على المجتمع.
Abstract
Financial institutions today strive to provide comprehensive social services as part of their effective interaction with the social environment. Within this context, the importance of organizations fulfilling their social responsibilities is highlighted, as neglecting these responsibilities can have negative impacts on both society and the institution itself. The economic success of an institution without considering the social aspect incurs long-term costs, negatively affecting its image and credibility. Given the importance of social responsibility from an Islamic perspective, where Islamic banks go beyond Sharia rules to consider the community’s right to these funds, this research paper focuses on the role of Saudi Investment Bank in supporting and enhancing the concepts and principles of social responsibility in Saudi Arabia. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study aimed to understand the social role played by banks in the Kingdom, analyzing the social responsibility reports issued by Saudi Investment Bank covering the period from 2013 to 2021. The results showed the bank’s serious and continuous commitment to social responsibility as part of its strategy, with diverse initiatives and programs serving the community and the environment, focusing on education, youth support, and women empowerment. The bank’s social responsibility program emphasizes diversity and transparency, with a continuous need to increase efforts to achieve maximum positive social impact. Therefore, the study recommends that other Saudi banks adopt the successful experiences of Saudi Investment Bank as a model for adopting initiatives aimed at enhancing social responsibility, with a focus on collaboration with the government, non-governmental organizations, and the local community to maximize positive impact on society.
