أطلق الإسلام مشروعاً حضارياً مميزاً منذ نشأته في قلب الجزيرة العربية، بل إن أول كلمة فتحت آفاق الدعوة الإسلامية بالوحي هي: اقرأ، تعبيراً عن أهم أسس الحضارة، وهو: العلم، ومن ثم القلم، أداة العلم الأولى: “اقرأ وربك الأكرم الذي علم بالقلم علم الإنسان ما لم يعلم”. ليعلم الإنسان ما لم يعلم. فكان مشروع الحضارة الإسلامية العظيم إقامة المجتمع العالمي على أسس من التحضر والعلم لما فيه خير البرية جمعاء. وبالفعل، مع نجاح الدعوة الإسلامية وسيادة الإسلام على العرب في الجزيرة انطلاقاً من دولة المدينة المنورة. برز المشروع الحضاري الإسلامي كبديل حضاري لكل ما كان سائداً من حضارات سابقة، بلغت مرحلة العقم والانحلال والتشوه، بفعل بعدها عن منهج الله ولاستغراقها في المفاسد والمظالم. وكانت المدينة المنورة أول مركز حضاري إسلامي معتبر بعدما أصبحت موئل المسلمين وملاذهم. وفي هذه المدينة نشأت أول دولة إسلامية بقيادة زعيمها الرسول الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم. وفيها جرى تطبيق مفردات ومفاهيم الحضارة الإسلامية وتجربتها على الأرض. فكانت بذلك أول نموذج عملي للمشروع الحضاري الإسلامي الذي سيتطور ويتوسع ليشمل آفاق العالم أجمع في القرون التالية. لذلك ستتم معالجة هذا الموضوع انطلاقاً من دراسة الدين وعلاقته بالحضارة مع مناقشة تكوين الحضارات عامة، والحضارة العربية خصوصاً التي سبقت الحضارة الإسلامية، ومن ثم ظهرت إرهاصات الحضارة الإسلامية انطلاقاً من النخبة المكية بصفتها الطليعة الحضارية الأولى، وما ظهر من منطلقات نظرية ومنظومة القيم التي استدعت البحث عن البيئة الملائمة وإطلاق مفهوم (الهجرة)، وفي دار الهجرة، تكونت ملامح المشروع الحضاري الإسلامي وظهرت بعض تفاصيله التطبيقية، في السياسة والإدارة والمجتمع والاقتصاد والفكر…إلخ. وكان إطلاق أول دستور لهذه الدولة الوليدة بما عرف بصحيفة المدينة. لتكون أعظم قانون يحفظ حقوق الإنسان ويحميه ويصلح أحواله. هذه الملامح التي ستكون فيما بعد أساس إبداع الحضارة الإسلامية وتألقها عبر العصور، لتصبح في العصر الوسيط الحضارة الأولى في العالم.
Abstract
Islam launched a distinctive civilizational project from its inception in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula. Indeed, the very first word revealed in the Islamic call was “Read,” expressing one of the most important foundations of civilization: knowledge. This is further emphasized by the pen, the primary instrument of knowledge: “Read, and your Lord is the Most Generous, Who taught by the pen, taught man that which he did not know” (Al-Alaq, verses 3-5). Thus, humanity learned what it did not know. The great project of Islamic civilization was to establish a global society based on the principles of progress and knowledge, benefiting all of humanity. With the success of the Islamic call and the dominance of Islam among the Arabs of the Peninsula, beginning with the state of Medina, the Islamic civilizational project emerged as a civilizational alternative to all previous civilizations, which had reached a stage of stagnation, decay, and distortion due to their deviation from God’s path and their immersion in corruption and injustice. Medina became the first significant Islamic center of civilization, a haven and refuge for Muslims. It was in this city that the first Islamic state was established, led by its leader, the noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). In Medina, the vocabulary and concepts of Islamic civilization were applied and put into practice. It thus became the first practical model of the Islamic civilizational project, which would develop and expand to encompass the entire world in the following centuries. Therefore, this topic will be addressed by examining religion and its relationship to civilization, discussing the formation of civilizations in general, and Arab civilization in particular, which preceded Islamic civilization. The early signs of Islamic civilization then emerged from the Meccan elite, the first civilizational vanguard, and the theoretical foundations and value system that necessitated the search for a suitable environment and the concept of migration (Hijra). In Medina, the features of the Islamic civilizational project took shape, and some of its practical details appeared in politics, administration, society, economics, thought, and so on. The first constitution of this nascent state was issued, known as the Constitution of Medina, which became the greatest law for preserving, protecting, and improving human rights. These features would later form the basis for the creativity and brilliance of Islamic civilization throughout the ages, making it the leading civilization in the world during the medieval period.
