الملخص
يُعنى هذا البحث بتوصيف حاشية “النَّفحات على شرح الورقات”، مع التَّعريف بصاحبها الشيخ أحمد بن عبد اللطيف الخطيب رحمه الله. وهو دراسة لمنهجه العام في الحاشية، ولأهم معالمها عند الشيخ مِن عنايته بالمفردات والألفاظ من حيث بيان المعنى اللغوي والعُرفي، والضبطُ للشكل، والتوجيهُ لمختار الماتن والشارح من العبارات، أو مِن اهتمامه بالـجُمَل والتراكيب من حيث الإعرابُ، وبيانُ المعنى الإجمالي، والإجابةُ عن الأسئلة الواردة، أو مِن زيادته لجملة من التنبيهات، والمسائل، والفوائد، وكلُّ ذلك كان من خلال جمعٍ لجزئياتٍ من المادة العلمية المنثورة في الحاشية مع وصفٍ لها بذكر الشَّواهد عليها.
وقد عقد الباحث لكلٍّ من المنهج العام وتلك المعالم التفصيلية مبحثًا مستقِلًّا، مع التمهيد بتعريف موجَز بالشيخ، وبيان لمعنى الحاشية وعُرفِ استعمالها في مثل هذا السياق.
وخرج الباحث بنتائج تُظهر أهمية هذا النوع من القوالب التأليفية، وتُبرز حاشية “النفحات” خاصَّةً؛ منهجًا ومعالمَ. وأوصى الباحث بمزيد دراسة لمناهج التأليف عند الأصوليين؛ لما في ذلك من تقريب علومها للباحثين.
Abstract
This research is concerned with describing the marginal commentary Al-Nafahāt ‘alā Sharḥ al-Waraqāt, along with introducing its author, Sheikh Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Laṭīf al-Khaṭīb, may Allah have mercy on him. It is a study of his general approach in the marginal notes and the key features of the commentary, including his attention to vocabulary and terminology—clarifying linguistic and customary meanings, vowel markings, and guidance toward preferred expressions used by the author and commentator—as well as his focus on sentence structure and syntax, explanation of the overall meaning, responses to raised questions, and his additions of various observations, issues, and benefits. All of this is presented through collecting specific elements of the scholarly material scattered throughout the marginalia, with descriptive analysis supported by examples.
The researcher has devoted separate sections to both the general methodology and these detailed features, preceded by a brief introduction to the Sheikh, a definition of what a ḥāshiyah (marginal commentary) is, and an explanation of its customary use in such contexts.
The study concludes with findings that highlight the importance of this type of scholarly format, particularly showcasing the unique method and features of Al-Nafahāt. The researcher recommends further study into the writing methodologies of scholars of legal theory (uṣūl), as such research can make these sciences more accessible to students and scholars.
