ملخص البحث
السنة النبوية هي المصدر الثاني للتشريع الإسلامي، وقد حظيت باهتمام جُلّ أهل العلم، لا سيما علماء الحديث الشريف وعلومه، وعلى رأسهم الإمام الكبير محمد بن إدريس الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى، فلقد كانت له صولات وجولات في الدفاع عن السنة وتعظيمها، والرد على منكري حجيتها وثبوتها، كما لا يخفى على المهتمين بهذا الشأن، ما للإمام الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى من دور كبير في الانتصار للسنة وتقديمها على الرأي والقياس، يبدو ذلك في ضوء التطبيق العملي لتعظيم السنة النبوية في المذهب الشافعي.

Abstract
The Prophetic Sunnah is the second source of Islamic legislation. It has garnered the attention of the vast majority of scholars-particularly those specializing in Hadith and its associated sciences-foremost among them the eminent Imam Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi‘i (may Allah have mercy on him). He played a pivotal role in defending and upholding the Sunnah, refuting those who denied its authority and authenticity. Furthermore, those versed in this field are well aware of Imam al-Shafi‘i’s significant contribution to championing the Sunnah and prioritizing it over personal opinion (*ra’y*) and analogical reasoning (*qiyas*); this is evident in the practical application of honoring the Prophetic Sunnah within the Shafi‘i doctrine.
