الملخص
تناولت في هذا البحث موضوع: السبق في القرآن الكريم ودراستها دراسة موضوعية، ويهدف البحث إلى: التعرف على مفهوم السبق في اللغة والاصطلاح، وبيان وجوه السبق في القرآن الكريم وتفسيرها تفسيراً موضوعيا. مع تفصيل أقوال المفسرين عند تفسير الآيات المتعلقة بالسبق، والترجيح بينها، واستنباط أهم الآثار الاعتقادية والاجتماعية من موضوع الدراسة على النفس الإنسانية. وقد سلك البحث المنهج الاستقرائي الموضوعي.
ومن نتائج البحث: أن أصل السبق هو التقدم حقيقة، ويتجوز استعماله في المعاني، وإذا عدي (سبق) بحرف (على) فإنه يتضمن معنى: حَكَم، ولكون السابقِ ضارًّا. وإذا عدي بحرف (اللام) فإنه يتضمن معنى الالتزام النافع، وإذا تعدى بحرف(من) للدلالة على عظمة ذلك الكتاب النازل من الله تعالى، وأن تسابق الملائكة لا يكون إلا في الخير أما تسابق البشر فيكون في الخير والشر.
Abstract
This study addresses the topic of precedence (sabaq) in the Noble Qur’an through a thematic study. The research aims to identify the concept of precedence in both its linguistic and technical usages, and to clarify the various manifestations of precedence in the Qur’an with a thematic exegetical interpretation. It also examines the statements of Qur’anic exegetes in interpreting the verses related to precedence, weighs their opinions, and derives the most significant doctrinal and social implications of the topic for the human self. The study adopts the inductive thematic method.
Among the main findings of the study is that the (basic meaning) of precedence denotes actual advancement or coming before others, though it may also be used figuratively in abstract meanings. When the verb sabaqa (to precede) is followed by the preposition “ʿalā” (upon/over), it conveys the meaning of overcoming or prevailing. When it is followed by “li-” (for/to), it implies a beneficial commitment or deserving attainment. When it occurs with “min” (from), it indicates the greatness and exalted status of the revealed Book from God Almighty. The study also finds that the competition or precedence of the angels occurs only in goodness, whereas human competition may occur in both good and evil.
